Our Family & Farm

Cut Bank Hills is a small, family run farm operating 70 kms east of Red Deer in Stettler County. We started farming with the desire to be more self-sufficient and to responsibly manage the land we live on. Out of this mission grew a passion for raising our gardens, animals, and babies with an emphasis on permaculture, intentional living, natural solutions, and plenty of sunshine. We believe in using what we have, letting nothing go to waste, and sharing the bounty of our yield.

And though our life is more Funny Farm than Little House On The Prairie, we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Pasture Raised Poultry & Eggs

We offer pastured chicken and turkey, as well as eggs from free range chickens. Our poultry is raised on nothing but grass, grain, and fresh air.

Pasture Raised Pork

Our pigs are Grain fed and free to forage. They’re raised in a stress free environment and are antibiotic free. We raise Heritage breeds that are suitable for pasture living, have great forage instincts, and excellent meat quality.

Now taking orders for 1/2 and whole butcher pigs.

Whole (approx. 120lbs meat cut & wrapped)- $650

Half (Approx. 60lbs meat cut & wrapped)- $350

Organic Veggie Boxes

Our veggie boxes operte under a CSA (community supported agriculture) model and signing up for a share in our CSA is akin to a subscription for the growing season. Members can sign up to recieve a weekly or bi-weekly share of fresh, handpicked vegetables, delivered right to your door!

Each box includes seasonal organic vegetables such as salad greens, herbs, kale, tomatoes, carrots, Eggplant, beans, beets, potatoes, corn, cucumbers, pumpkins, and more.

The 2021 CSA season will run July 11 to September 26

Weekly Veggie Box (12 deliveries)- $550

Bi-Weekly Veggie Box (6 deliveries)- $275

Egg Add On - $40 for weekly boxes . $20 for bi-weekly boxes
